Well,a bit premature but my renewal quote arrived this morning, Fully comp, protected NCB £157.84, wondering wether it's worth looking on a comparison site.2.5 DSE by the.way:D

If you do, then do it 21 days prior to renewal...apparently...according to the God of Money aka Martin Moneybags Lewis :D
Personally having been quoted 15p more than last year I am happy to renew without the hassle.
:)

£36 Cheaper than last year:eek: Must be a clerical error, Insurance companies never put the price down, a minus sign accidentally placed in front of the proposed increase.
The batards over here have increased the premiums every year during Covid despite almost zero mileage.
No,I did check,no error and I went on a comparison site and the cheapest is more expensive so I'll stay with my current company.;):D

Became law in Uk from 1st january insurance companies cannot charge more for existing customers than if they are charging less for new customers, this is for both house and motor.
My P38 dropped £80 at Christmas, now £230 fully comp, and my MX5 which as just come up for renewal has dropped £34,now £184 fully comp for both me and she who must be obeyed

Yup,and mine includes The Boss as a named driver.

Insurance should be cheaper given the last two years of pandemic and reduction in traffic..
I wonder if the new highway code 'hierarchy of road users' will have more scammers working the system and putting up the costs next year

They'll come up with some excuse more accidents because of lack of practice.

I just swapped mine to Direct Assurance down from €439 to €201 all risks with wife as named driver, Transit went down from €365 to €186 all risks and I got down further by going TPFT. It's mobile scrap, no value so no point in all risks.

Who would steel a transit if it was on fire.......:D:D:D.
