Basic but should help. We in Manchester suffer with the Postal Code element you can live in a leafy part of Manchester, but if the postal code covers three quarters of the national crimes and surrounding area add extra bucket of money.

Surely you looked at insurance before purchase.
Personally I would steer clear of AF they knew nothing when We tried to insure the OF.
What mods have you that seem to give the problems?
We went with A-plan in the end for the OF on a limited mileage but they at least understood the value of the car.

Worth checking out online reviews..... it appears NFU have changed somewhat.
From personal experience, and only my opinion, but I wouldn't go near them, but then when a 10 week repair grows into 9 years of hell, then .....

hope ur good, plus 1 and done the same as u, A plan beat the AF quote by over a grand

+1 on Carly - she's a star in my book - Viz:- ( and this is only my opinion
):- when aforementioned NFU fiasco included me getting TWO CCJ's (!!), Carly was brilliant in at least keeping us insured.... still had a massive policy loading though, but the CCJ's made US effectively uninsurable !!
