Just started doing a few bits and bobs and notices that some of the instrument bulb holders are missing or on there last legs. Old style 300tdi instruments.
So I've made a few in resin and fast cast plastic in black to hopefully produce more light. I'm going to be running them on led but see no reason why they won't stand up to filiment bulbs. They are crude but do work and are threaded.


Just wondering while I've got access to the materials does anyone want any, cost would only be second class postage and a few pence for envelope. I only make a couple a day so cant do massive orders.
Admin any problems with this please let me know.

Are these the ones that screw into the green part inside the gauge? If so I may be interested in a couple, last time I broke one I bought an butchered a couple of old temp guages!

I cut up an ink marker pen and glued them on. Works a treat.

On closer inspection the bits that I am missing an are broken are the green lens these screw into! on a couple of my spare gauges the lens has disintegrated but this part is still going strong.
