HI

does anyone know what valve size required normally on the tubes for a 7.50 x r16 5.5" rim
late Series 3 Diesel

its either TR13 or TR 15 but im hoping to order some today

cheers

Steve

From memory they are TR15 on a land rover tubless rim, but as stated it is dependent on the rim not on the tyre

You can also buy adapters to allow smaller valves to fit securely into larger holes

It should be fairly obvious by just looking at the hole in the rim. Even I could tell it was bigger on mine and I'm not looking at them every day. Suggest you try another fitter. I asked about fitting tubes as its a dying trade and most younger generation have no idea that cars had tubes fitted once upon a time.

Those are neat if you’re fitting tubelesss tyres, I’ve got original 5.5 rims for tubed tyres so limited to 195mm wide tyres but these generally smaller diameter than the 7.50 so went for original 7.50 , The garage gave me the old tubes back as spares and also showed the TR13 tubes they ordered in which were a lot smaller
