my injectors came lose a mon.th or so ago mso i tightened the 8 mm stretch bolt all was ok the the other one came lose so i nipped it up ok for a whil,e then i noticed oil on floor, so i investigated it was running and starting very well so i discounted pistons or compression on pulling oil filler cap while warm and still running i noticed smoke, and bits of oil chuffing out , so yesterday i looked at injectors what a bloody mess, copper washers had almost disintigrated and moulded themselves round injector ,wem cleaned up base of hole and injectors removing remains of old washers and r,effited with new seals all round and new stretch bolts no more smoke or oil everywhere but a small bit of oil coming from bell housing i fitted new crank seal a couple of months ago with clutch so i think pressure may have caused it hope it settles down in a while i hope this helps anyone with similar problem any help or advice would bem more than welcome by the way its a 2.4 puma

On a serious note; when you had the injectors out did they go back into the same cylinders? They are coded and must match the cylinder they came from, or be recoded to the ecu.

Now its time to get some diagnostics read out - remember to write down the fault codes. I would suspect the throttle pedal sensor is misbehaving. But get codes before spending.
