Injector replacement isn't a hard job just can take some time.

Disconnect Battery (Finding Radio/GPS/Phone/Alarm codes) XXX MOST IMPORTANT XXX

Depressurise the Fuel system

Remove units from around fuel rail/s ie pipes/plugs (Note what goes where sounds simple but believe me it's no laughing matter when you've spent 3 days stripping and engine just to put a plug in the wrong socket.)

Undo fuel rail from injector

Pull out injector from port

Check how many washers/rubber rings (DO NOT replace with old rubber washers)

Replace washers and any other parts you find defective.

Connect all back up

Test for leaks etc

XXXX Under no circumstances test injectors holding injector XXXX

Again might seem a dumb statement but you'd be suprised how quick fuel will get under the skin and into the blood stream.

Diesel is much the same as petrol. The instructions are for common throughout the injection world.

Hope this helps

thank you very much hope its as easy as sounds
are there rubber washers ontop the injectors which need replacin as well ? thanks steve (first diesel car )lol

Hi

You might find rubber ones on the injector as you remove it, if you don't have to remove the injector to replace the copper washers then don't worry about the rubber sealing ones. Replace the rubber sealing ones if the injectors have to come out.
