Took the hippo to a diesel injection 'specialist' on Monday - 4 hours later he still couldn't get the dodgy injector out so he gave up a gave it back with no charge! :-(

On the way home we stopped by a car dealer and we pick up our new qashqai tomorrow having been offered £1850 for the hippo - nearly snapped his hand off :)

so long troublesome motor!

My Missus has a Qashqai, at first I loved driving it (sorry lads !) but now I just find it so annoying lol, had to change a headlight bulb in it last night & after 2 hours of swearing it finally went into place, it uses a H7 bulb but instead of using the usual spring clip they have reaplaced that with a fiddly two part bayonet type system that has you tearing your hair out because you can't actually see it, have actually heard of people taking them back to the dealers to change a headlight bulb :(. Its been recalled twice, once for "Remedial steering work". I have a list as long as my arm of the things that annoy me about it but I daren't tell my missus, otherwise she might not let me use it when both of my Freelanders are broken down at the same time :D

In parts of Europe it is a law that you have to carry a spare set of bulbs, but then you need a garage to fit them:mad::mad::mad:

Lol, I shouldn't slag it off too much cos the one place it has never been where my Freelanders have is on the back of a tow truck ;)
