does anyone know if this plug can be bought separately ? It's crumbled from the heat

It's not available as spare from LR, your only chance is from a scrapyard or bite the bullet and buy a new engine harness, it will improve driveability as well cos it contains all the sensor's plugs and they are all affected by heat in time so the signals are not 100% accurate anymore...i replaced mine as preventative maintainance as i didnt like the look of the old one and the engine ran much better after that without having any fault logged before

Thanks so we're back to the loom again! Lol

Am I right in thinking there is a join near the bulkhead on Defenders so the bit to the ecu is separate?

Ive found a very cheap discovery loom so will nick the plug off it. Really don't want to fork out for a new loom!

Went to change the injector loom as the cover was off anyway, turns out the damaged plug is the injector loom side not the the engine loom side. The damage in my photo just pulled out with pliers !!
