This is mine and Hubbys Landy that we purchased last month. I was told that she was one of three produced by Landrover back in 1993 (L31, L32 and L33 SVC) as a Show Model. Trying to find anymore information on her as she'll be a nightmare for parts as a mix id different Landy parts! Any info would be very much appreciated or if anyone can tell mr where else I can look, that would also be a great help. Thanks!

Hi, do you still own L31SVC? I own L41SVC, a 300tdi ES Discovery. They are press launch cars that were used by Land Rover for the launch of the facelift / 300tdi Romulus Discovery. They were launched at the same time as the Range Rover Classic Softdash / 300tdi (which also feature L**SVC number plates). Mine was featured in the motoring magazine CarWeek and Rover Times, a Dutch magazine. Yours features in a few books. James Taylor included a photo of it in his book, Land Rover Discovery 25 Years Of The Family 4x4 James Taylor, where it features a Discovery Decal along the bottom of the doors. If you still own L31SVC please check out the CVC Register (which looks to save and preserve factory-registered and owned Land Rovers) on facebook and get in touch! Best wishes, Anthony

Don’t expect a reply, the OP hasn’t been seen since Aug 2017.

I’ll have to look out for that book 😊
