Hi all,
Im new to the land rover scene and recently bought a 2003 facelift td5. My indicators and hazards have stopped working just before mot time!! Ive spent hours searching the web and followed some instructions still no joy. The arrow on the dash lights up then goes out nothing else.
Ive replaced the interior fuse box with IDM and still same problem
Ive now changed to BCU and had the checked and still no indicators or hazards. I left ignition on for 10 mins too for them to sync
Everything else works as far as i can tell but not them. Is there anything else that i can change or test to find the issue.
Failing all that is there anyway to wire i flasher unit in and do away with the original set up as its only my run about motor.
Thanks in advance

I'd start by removing all the indicator lamps except for the ones on the side and see what happens.

Have you got a multimeter

Link to wiring diagrams. Go to external lights, then select indicators.. http://gershon.ucoz.com/landrover/TD5/Electrical.pdf

Check fuse 29, its a 10A, in the fusebox on the passenger side. Also check fuse 14, 15A in the engine bay fusebox. They are the only two I can see listed under the wiring diagram for indicators.

I have lifted the fuse box under the bonnet and theres a green and white wire thats cut off poking out a plug could this be causing my problem

Looks like the 12v feed to the RH lights.

Just bought my Td5 indicator issue as above, found out it was the front offside bulb holder shorting out and blowing one of the under bonnet fuses, sorted, hope that is helpful
