Ok guys, not quite sure how to put this, my Dad's mate has told him that I can get a bit more power out of my Disco. He said:

'Only takes ten minutes and all I have to do is take 'something' out the engine and turn it a quarter, then put it back in'

Anyone have a CLUE what he was on about. Said to take it to his garage and he would do it but I wouldn't mind doing it myself if I can figure out what he's on about lol.

I apologize if that made no sense.

fuel pump mod that is pal there is a thread on it on here,

search sluggish disco not anymore

it has pictures and a walk through guide to it

What you need to do, is locate the flux capacitor, take it out, clean the filters and giv it a shake (as the flux can sometimes settle at the bottom) pop it back in, n you'll be alright doc

Only if you increase the EGT and blow the turbo then melt the valves.

I've done a few now, the last one, a 300tdi I adjusted until it smoked then backed it off untill it had only a bit more than standard. I also checked the turbo was making full boost which it was. Bog standard apart from that and it transformed it! It's been done for a few months now and he reckons its better on fuel too
