Hi,
I own a 1972, 2 door, I've had it locked away in a garage for the last 8 years awaiting renovation.
Just recently I bought a newer 2 door to use as spares to do my 72 one up. For an 82 vehicle it is in relatively good nick, if you look past the superficial stuff (my wife still thinks it's an old shed, but she would).
Reading the May issue of LRO international I couldn't belive what I may have bought. Featured on page 146 is an "In Vogue".
Features on this resemble the same as mine.
Mine is the same colour, centre cubby box present, air con switches on dash (the unit has been removed). The only difference (apart from the condition) is mine has got the 3 speed Chrysler auto box in.
I've tryed to find info on the net about the In Vogue. I found a site saying 1000 In Vogues were made, but the auto box was put in, in the next lot to be made.
My questions to anyone out there is:-
Is there a bank of chassis numbers mine should fall into, that will verify it's an In Vogue.
Is the auto version sought after.
Any other info would be appreciated.
And before you ask, no I did't get a picnic hamper with it.

"In Vogue" was a Wood and Pickett design.

I've got a W&P Range Rover (on ebay now, plug, plug), and they're utterly hopeless with info as they're just a custom shop for Minis now. Don't seem to be related to the company that did Range Rover stuff anymore.

you need to look on ebay for a book by james taylor called original range rover. i,m pretty sure thats got info on chassis numbers engine numbers specs and all sorts in it,just a shame i leant my copy out and it vanished
