first off thanks to those who replied to my question,"my range rover wont start"

i got my car going i think there was an air blockage in the fuel pipe.my mechanic removed the main injector pipe to make sure fuel was coming through and it spurted out which must have removed the air blockage as it started straight away. this was on thursday evening.

my wife then drove it all day on friday and put £100 in diesel in it.

this morning i reversed of my drive and parked it infront of the house,

1 hour later it would not start,

my mechanic then did the same as above and it started again,

has anyone any ideas,my mechanic thinks the small fuel pump under the back seats may be working on and off thus creating air gaps,

any ideas welcome and thanks this is a cracking website thanks paul.

ps, after this i have 2 more problems to deal with ha ha :):doh:

can you see ait in the tubes???
i would repace the pipes, leak off pipes between injectors and repace the fuel filter making sure the new has been filled with diesel before fitting it. you'll probably fine that there is a small split somewhere, if it was the pump you would notice more of a difference when the tank was empty.

there was air the first time but not the second that we could see,iil tell my mechanic what you have said and go from there thanks paul.
