I am in the process of restoring a 1974 Range Rover. The back of the servo is completely rusted through. It seems difficult to get hold of the imperial servos, but I have one from a metric braked car that looks pretty much identical. (apart from the horizontal vs vertical mounting for the master cylinder). Does anyone know if it is possible to slacken the clamp that joins the 2 halves of the servo, spin by 90 degrees and put the imperial master cylinder on?
Thanks
Jon

I don't see why not, check the diaphram is not twisted as well. Don't think it has location lugs but check, it's been so long since I had one stripped down.
