Hi,

I’m down to one remaining immobiliser key fob for my ‘52 110 CSW (one had a journey through the wash and died) and the last one is now looking very worn (as is my rear cross member - MOT next week!!!). Twenty years on so I can forgive it that! So I’m looking for a replacement - local garage reckons £120 but I’ve seen OEM replacements available through company called ‘Remote Key’. They send out a programmer to plug into the ecu socket and this fettles the fob - total cost £74.99. Just wondering if anyone has experience of using them or knows an alternative way of getting a new fob - would like to keep it OEM if possible.

i had one from land rover main dealer after two days they still said need talk to technical as vehicle is not talking to them it was expensive but key insurance covered it in the end i went to local lads to program it after five minutes he said its the wrong fob he got one from his drawer and two minutes it was working charged me £75 i sent bill to land rover who suprised me and paid it

Hmmm - yeah, should be a simple job but I’m sure if things can go wrong they will! Glad it worked out in the end and LR got their wallet out

Yarp - I used them for a new fob on my ‘98 90, quick and simple, cant fault the service.
