Hey all,

My uncle is buying a new Land Rover and has offered me his old Discovery for £9k (this is what he's been offered part ex). It's a black 53 plate with an automatic diesel engine and 60k on the clock. It has leather throughout, has the rear parking sensors. It's in mint condition from what I could tell. Do you think this is a good price?

Also what sort of MPG can I expect to get? My current RX8 is a nightmare for milage (only 18 round town) so I'm looking for something not too bad on the fuel economy front.

Is there anything I need to look out for or beware of with this car?

Yeah, I mean use the search function on the forum ... look up the page to just below the banner, there's two rows of buttons, one of which is marked 'search' with it's own little twisty .. This question has been answered numerous times ...
