I'm sure this on the site somewhere but I can't find the answer so here goes for my question.
Only just purchased my 109 Deisel and the fuel gauge was reading empty and the tank was empty - all ok so far, then I filled her up and now the gauge reads full all the time and I know it's not full

Any suggestions welcome...please if you are only going to tell me this should be in another section keep it short!!!

I will put you out of your misery, and tell you to change the fuel sender. Just don't buy a britpart one.

i spose a 109 shuds relly be the series sexshun?

Well done Daft, at least you know all the sections like you should after 70 years membership:p:D

Series Land Rovers - Land Rover Zone

But to be fair, peeps are advised to post here if they're not sure where to post and a moderizor may move it when they finished their pies or chippies.

So, to the OP, the fuel guage sender may have been put in wrongly and be stuck on the side of the tank thus giving a false reading.
