Hi all, to give my Series 1 a better stance, I want to fit wider wheels to it. However, I don't want to go aftermarket, I'd rather keep it in the family... so to speak!

My question is, I know that the early Forward Controls had 'deeper' wheels, are they the same as the newer 130 rims which are more available?

Cheers...

I've put a set of 130/Wolf wheels on my SIIa 109" with no problems. In fact the looks of the truck have been transformed, I love it even better now!

The ride is different though. Wolf wheels are really meaty and are 8kgs (10lbs) a piece heavier than my originals. This means more unsusupended weight -> less road contact & bouncier. I wouldn't turn back though, the wider stance also reduces body roll and turning circle.

Maybe it is best to use 110 wheels & spacers?

Good luck!

i think wolf wheels are classed as alloys and should only be fitted to studs for alloys indicated by a cut out across the wheel stud.
they have been known to come loose and fall of?

just an observation.
