Hi,
I have a RR classic which had an old and dysfunctional alarm (had been told it often went off or refused to disable) I followed advice and found where it joined the ignition wiring and worked back.
Should say, I have NO experience with working on cars and have to work out what to do from manuals.
So, the connections to their ignition coil. The cars wiring has a black and a white wire going into a plug connector but the other side has two white and a black. This side then connects to the ignition coil and its base, (not sure what its called). The alarm is also connected to one of the white wires on this side and then connects to the + spade connector on the coil.
I hope this makes sense....
Am trying to find out what it should look like, without alarm, have even left a note on a local RRC but no go.
Sorry to be a dunce
