is there a way to bypass switch? when i turn my key it gets power but
doesnt seem to have spring to starter. what do i need to remove old
switch

If it is an automatic, will it start in neutral? The switches are known
to get dirty connections in them. They are expensive switches down on
the tranny.

If this is the issue, I have a link on how to rebuild the switch.

The body also can lose the ground. There is a wire mesh cable that can
go bad and your symptoms can happen. I test that using a booster cable
from the battery negative to the firewall to bypass it.
