I have a 2.5td grafted into a series 2. It runs ok when cold but as it warms up then engine will stall when i stop at a junction etc .It has only just been fitted to the truck when i rebuilt it.the air filter is non standard ,does this alter the way the turbo works anybody any suggestions.I am new to the landrover world and turbos ,any advice will be greatly appreciated .

not really as long as turbo has plenty of air ,pump timing or pump itself id be looking at ,pump timings advanced when cold

I made the tool as described in the haynes manual and then lined it all up with the dot on the crankshaft , thought i'd cracked it .This is land rover world

had it all to bit today , cleaned everything , checked all the lift pump etc , primed everything , got plenty of fuel at the bleed screw , very little at the injectors , refuuses to start now
This happened before I had the injector pump rebuilt and now again after 30 miles running.
I am totally baffled , don't know what to do next.
