Hi

I'm trying to understand the Paddocks part description. For instance in the Defender section :

"Sidelight lens - white - to 95MY - LA"

My Defender has chassis number SALLDHAF7MA965429 from which I understand the M tells me its a 95, but I can't understand what their MY-LA designtation means.

Any advice appreciated.

dunno , but i can identify anything paddocks sell as cheap rubbish.

do you have a pic of the offending part?

MY - Model Year.
The part fits all cars with a chassis number up to LA as yours is MA it won't be the correct part, Land Rover must have made a slight change after all the LA cars rolled off the production line.

hello hat man , been goin pretty well , took it to greece for 5 weeks , which was nice.
il put a fred up in the expoadditions section

dave, what year is your motor? the sidelight lense changed from just the lens part to the whole capsule thingy on the early 300tdi's. looks like you need the later part from your chassis number. best way it to remove your original and see what you have 1st.

The lights change in '94 from two wire with bullet connecters to a plug in type but the lens are the same

Cheers for the help. I think what I want from Paddocks is :

"Sidelight complete - 12v from 95MY - MA" Part no. AMR6514
