rear of the rocker

next to the rocker cover bolts

spade onto a bolted in terminal

what ever its wired to on mine probably isnt working - or at least as well as it should the wire is brittle and some ****er has just "tied" the wire to the spade ! - some shocking electrics in this wagon despite everything working ! "1000 pack of electrical connections & shrink wrap" on way

i thought temp sensor of some kind ... oddly my heater is the best of any defender ive ever ridden in - it actually gets hot inside unless i havnt slammed my door all the way. My haynes didnt help and randomly searching/googling combinations of words hasnt helped !

hopefully my connection kit will have arrived today and i can set about fixing some of the wiring bodges on this truck !

its the temp sensor that controls the gauge on the dash
