Just a quick one.....anyone used one of these ? says it can re-set adaptions and also calibrate the suspension, anyone know if it can and on a 2002 L322 ?
I may buy one and then can use for mine and anyone else in my area that needs help.
I'm sure I remember someone saying something about iCarsoft and early models on here. RSW Software does AllComms for the early L322, albeit based on the v8. Gap IID seems to be popular too. @backinblack might know or @marjon
Gap is great bit of kit (would need to check they covered that year) but afraid it is a tad more expensive than the icarsoft . Of which I have no experience. think @backinblack uses inpa.
Depends what the OP wants to do and if its a keeper.
Hi guys and thank you for all the replys, been doing some digging and found as follws.
Stustrong is a top man and has helped me loads and taught me how to use INPA over the phone yes inpa works but am looking for something else that is easy affordable and not 1 car specific as so I can promote to help others and also if someone in my area needs help I can do for them I like to help.
Icarsoft V3 will not do BMW based RR ie 2002-2006/07 got the word from the horses mouth when I recieved an email from them.
Gap I hear is ace but pro expensive and annual fee which would make me helping others prohibative
Ill stick to INPA for now and anyone in Portsmouth area needs help suspension set up more than happy to help.
It has done MY2005 many times so I guess so. It's been superseded by the NT530 and according to others on here has lost some functionality but I'm not sure what. Perhaps a search on here will help.
Going on holiday in 10 minutes so will catch up later.
If you plan on keeping your L322 long term I would highly suggest investing in a Gap tool.
Foxwell is great, Nanocom is better but a Gap tool beats them both.
icarsoft will not do suspension recalibration
you can not access each leg independantly
or save your setting
you can set it to go to all the preset hights
and reset to default settings only
