Getting my diesel back on the road after 2 years was quite easy thanks to this forum. I forgot how helpful everyone is and the massive bank of knowledge and experience everyone holds.

So car passed MOT and I am back in the Rangie zone (I think there is a song in that).

Not so good, the turbo blew up driving it back from the MOT garage. bugger! Just a part of owning a Rangie
 
Hose from intercooler came loose as I forgot to tighten up the jubilee clip. Pulled up at home to lots of smoke from under the bonnet, opened it to see all the smoke coming from under the heat shield. Left it to cool and was able to start it again, just have not driven it to see if the damage is permanent. 2nd hand one ordered which I was going to do anyway as there was plenty of oil in all the air systems.
