Just removed the upper casing of the oil filter/ filter base, the one that connects to the engine with one spanner 😁 blockhttps://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams...diesel/engine-oil-filter-225-litre-diesel_102

Can I wash it with some homemade solution vinegar soda and stuff ? Does it have any delicate inside components like rubber and stuff

Btw lads up North have it easy with no sweat pouring in your eyes while on ur back under your leaking faithfull landy

Do you have brake cleaner?

A pint of diesel will clean most stuff. Some petrol will help the stubborn bits

Brake cleaner all day long.
Ye petrol degreases like a charm but since this babe hasnt be touched deeply in her 40 years life span while she's been abused on farms, I have a lot of degreasing to do and cba to breathe petrol fumes or wear a mask all the time.
Thats why I use this softer homemade solution and here are the results
