Okay so my recent problems with my 02 TD4 resulted in a hefty bill (warranty) to replace the high pressure pump.

They ran diagnostics and this was clearly the problem with the non-starting issue. I also told them I was getting loss of power (foot down no response) intermittently. The diagnostics only returned a fault with the HP pump. This is now fixed and the car was running like a dream.

However a day later and I seem to be getting this loss of power issue again. Now could the test have missed a faulty boost solenoid? Am I just flipping unlucky or something else?
