i was wondering if anyone here could tell me how many HP's the standard 2 1/4 petrol engine puts out?? and also the power of the 2.5 N/A deisel that was put in the early Nineties.

And finally, ow much power would you get from the 3.5ltr V8 from a 1983... not sure whether its a 110 or a 109 .

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this information will be used in a talk i am doing at school on my favourite jeeps.

i think the std 2 1/4 put out about 1 not on the rest

erm... think you made a few typos there! i had heard that the series 3s where underpowered... but 1 hp???? thats pathetic!!! lol

to be honest, i only want to know how much hp they have so i can wind up my landy owning friends about how slow they are!

its even better if you reroute the heater blower to the carb
