I picked up a 2018 discovery sport HSE yesterday and I’ve not been able to shake the feeling that the infotainment system is… well… ****.

I’ve googled around and also been on the official Land Rover sites and what I have in my car is not like what’s on the official Land Rover tutorials.

I have no option to get to “all settings”, no “connectivity” option anywhere. I am trying to find a way to update the software or even see a software version number. I can’t seem to get anywhere. I am a software engineer so I’m pretty geeky by nature and know my way around these things, but this has me stumped.

I’ve attached some pictures of what I have.

I bought a used 2016 model landrover discovery sport hse lux and it has same issue and same screen and can’t figure how to update or access the wifi options or all settings either. Please let me know if you figure it out

If you can't access the necessary software, the hardware isn't fitted for it to work.
