I have lost some teeth on my fly wheel, and its in a place with no teeth atm so no start, which bit is it i need to turn to get it to start?

I know when the AA man did it, he got under with bar and turned it, what bar would he have used can i just go buy one?

Now I am sure I need a new fly wheel teeth, want to get it started again, before i book it into some where to make sure I can get it to them.

I am guessing he turned the big wheel on the left to get the fly wheel to move round?

If you can't push it, you could put a socket onto the crank pulley bolt and turn the engine round a few degrees with that.

A strong arm from any 1/2" socket set should suffice.

Don't forget to have it out of gear if you are turning by hand.

Stick it in top gear, hand brake off and move it about a yard. Handbrake on, out of gear, turn key and away you go.
