C cljcars Active Member Mar 23, 2012 #1 What method have you used to seal the dipstick tube. Tried ptfe tape and loctite black silicon. What do you use. Just rebuilt the engine and its the only oil leak, help its diving me mad.

joe1972 Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2012 #2 The factory used o ring is only to help stop the stick vibrating out of the tube. ebay is good place
C cljcars Active Member Mar 23, 2012 #3 Rave says seal it with something. Can't think what it is now. No o ring fits on the 4.6 does it.
