Pretty straight forward then. You didn't mention cleaning up the caliper where the pads sit, I personally like Copperslip but used very sparingly. You will get a like from me,

Copraslip a must. But to be honest anyone who needs to follow an how to to change brake pads shouldn't be doing it.
 
Better than them trying and putting the pads in friction lining to the piston
I don't believe that non competents should play with brakes and should confine their brake system work to topping the fluid up. Even that is to much for some. :D:D
