I have got hold of another rear glass for my Disco 2 as mine has been scratched by the little feet on wiper blade by the PO - we removed the new one from a scrapped car so just used screwdrivers to lever it out without worrying about the door.
Is there a technique to remove the old window and installing the new one? Any tips please?

Do you mean the tailgate?

Actually, me being dumb , you did mention the wiper blade.

There is a description in the Rave for the D1, but I cannot see it for the D2.

This is for a D1.

Same as for a normal rubber-sealed glass.

I love it - "push out the glass" - never done this before so I guess I just push hard but not too hard

I think they forget the "BE VERY CAREFUL, and have someone else ready to catch it". In there somewhere..
