First of all thanks for any replies I get on here but I have been looking everywhere and can't find anywhere on the net that shows me or explains a resolution to my issue.

A long story short is that I have to replace the electric window glass on the passenger door on my 5 door freelancer. I had to break in as the keys got locked inside and didn't have any spare ones anywhere near where I was and therefor the only way to get in was to smash it

I have got the replacement window but I have no idea how to fit it and would love some help on how to replace the window as it is now boarded up and keeping my car very cold at night.

Please let me know how to fit it or any links i can follow.

Please help as much as possible i will be forever in your debt.

Welcome to LZ:)

Why did ya not call out aa/rac or ask someone how to gain access without breaking the glass?

Thanks so much for your reply's guys.

It's for the rear passenger window if that makes any difference ?

Oh and I didn't call rac/aa as I knew it would cost an arm and a leg plus it was freezing cold and my 2 yr old daughter stuck with me in the middle of nowhere.

Just for future reference. If you are a member of a breakdown organisation they will come and unlock your vehicle for free. If you aren't already a member it would cost between about £80 and £150 depending on which club it is to join you up on the day. :)

Oh brilliant thanks for he info really helpful ratty.

Anyone know if it's the same procedure to do the rear door window glass ?

Looks like it's the same to do the rear window with exception of having to remove the speaker and interior seals to allow the glass to go slide down easily.

Thanks for the help and please let me know if anyone is interested in the actual steps to replace rear window.
