Hello all, I have recently imported a LR4 SCV6 into the UK and the only thing that stands in the way of getting the car registered is finding the engine number. I know the location of the engine number but I can't simply get to it. I tried decoding the VIN but the service I paid for only gave me the information I already had available.

Any clues on how to obtain this would be highly appreciated.

Is it the TDV6?
Believe the engine number is on a plate on top under the cover.
Or down by the starter, think it can be got at through the wheel arch and a few heat shields,

You don’t actually say where you know it is.

No its the SCV6 petrol
