Have just bought a 2 man bench seat from Craddocks. No instructions though. Anybody have any pics I could plunder. Planning on putting a lap belt on it too. To strengthen the belt anchor point (underside), what size/thickness of plate should I use ?

Cheers all.

Thanks for info. Craddocks supplied 2x bolts, 2x nuts, 6 washers (all for the hinges) and 2x bent bracket type affairs with 2 holes pre-drilled. Apparently this slots into the rail around the load bay bulkhead once connected to seat ? Seems to anyway. Looks like previous owner was going to fit seats as there are 4 pieces of 1"x2" wood exactly same width as the bench either side on the seat boxes. Unfortunately they're positioned halfway down the load bay. I want to place it further towards the cab so I get the full effect of my daughter's moaning that there are no windows in this new one & she's bored. I'll put some new pieces down.
Changed the gear oil yesterday. The was a hole in the bucket I was using for a drip tray :( (left it draining whilst I had a brew). 20 minute job turned into 2 hour clean up reminiscent of the Exxon Valdez disaster. Lesson learnt !!!

Squidward, did the same to my own 110. Back rest had metal brackets that fitted up into the rail around the tub at the top and bolted down into the wheel boxes. Had to drill out me own holes, and used 3mm backing plate to hold them down. Seat part just folds up. Not yet fitted seat belts (not sure that lapbelts on sideway facing seats are really useful) but if do will bolt down onto chassis somehow. Happy to supply pics if it would be helpful.

Why are my bench seats just bolted down with two bolts then...they are original rear bench's from '91 90 County H/T.

The rear part (with the backrest on) just has two parts on the bottom with holes in which bolt straight through the wheel arch. The bottom part (with the cushion on) is attached to the back via two bolts and simply folds up and attached with the aid of a bungee.

Why is mine so different then, it has no other fixings?
