Please can someone tell me how many square metres or square feet or square something else of dampening material I'll need to thoroughly sound-dampen my Landrover Defender 110 Td5 County Station Wagon (2005)? That means, I think, engine compartment, bonnet/hood, floors, doors, side-panelling, roof (anywhere else???).

I'm particularly looking at Dynamat, so if anyone could say to me "OK, you need …… square wotsits of Dynamat TYPE A ("Dynamat Extreme" ????? , for example) and …… square wotsits of Dynamat TYPE B (etc.)", I'd be mightily chuffed.

But measurements are measurements, so it doesn't have to be Dynamat you tell me about. I want to be able to say to a supplier (who I'm not able to visit, because of my location) "Please send me x square metres of this and this". It's the measurements I'm after. (So perhaps I should just measure all the surfaces on my vehicle: problem is, I'm not sure which surfaces to work on.)

Thus if someone could also say "Here's a website describing how someone's done their Landrover" (have looked but can't find), that would be great.
