Love mine, can't see me getting rid of it, even if we won the lottery or similar .. ;)

today I fekkin hate the bastid thing, if it isnt the front wheel fallin off last weekend (dont ask) it's starting to change the knackered brake disc ( see comment about front wheel) find that the swivel pin needs adjusting ( what a ****in thankless task that is) then discovering that the Uj on the front prop is about to let go.
and i still got 1 side to do the brakes on.

tomorrow I'll be in love with it again

probably

It's not even mine (it's the wife's) and I still like it enough to crawl around under it, over it and inside it to keep it going.

Hell, I'm even thinking of makinng us a two land rover family!!!

Its a hobby to me, one in bits, one needing resto' and a rolling chassis needing a body. All for sale eventually at the right price but only after I've had my fun with them. Feels wrong when I dont have an old motor to work on in my spare time..

Its my therapy, without my huge hunk of Britain to love and cherish, or is that weld and repair again, I think i would be suffering far more homesickness.

as it stands the disco just about keeps me sane in a crazy country, it also helps me keep my required Englishness as they all think im crazy because of the huge amount of work needed to just keep the thing running.

Looking for a nice old series now, now that would be just pure British balmyness at its peak ;)

Aye, but my point is that if someone offered you £5,000 would you sell it? Too right.;)

Don't think I would .. I know it's not worth that and I could buy a 'better' one, but it would take a while to be 'mine' and for me to know it as well as I do this one.

Funny though, when I sold me last Series 3, I didn't have to think twice!
