Replaced my blend motors approx 14 months ago and now I have the book symbol back. Diagnosing I think I may be able to fix the problem using the self tapping screw fix but I'm not sure what size screw works best. Anyone thats tried this fix please advise?

we mine likes it long and deep but wait a bit and you might get the correct answer

I'd say about 20 minutes and if its a bit short then wiggle it

you got to prep the hole and screw it in bit by bit.

yeh, but don't forget to use some protection whilst your at it to prevent any bad accidents. you wouldn't want anything to fly up and hit you in the eye. it'll be blood shot for hrs.

Short and thick will do the trick.

Actually this the correct answer to your OP. I did it on mine earlier in the year. The objective is to force the plastic casing which house the **** flaps er...I mean blend flaps apart to prevent them from snagging.
