Hi all,

I spoke to one company who sold me this tank and pipes etc, and they said there is no straps or anything to hold this tank in place.

I find this really hard to believe as the tank would just be unsupported and rattle about, so just wondering if any of you guys know how it's achieved?

The tank is off a late 300tdi 90 in a 200tdi Richards chassis with the addition mount for TD5 rear tank

Many thanks

Mine has the older metal type which the tank and protection cradle both bolt through the same holes to the chassis from underneath. Not sure about plastic tanks but I would have thought it'd have a similar cradle protection plate.

I believe they are sandwiched between the underside of the tub and the cradle below on the 90 models.

110s use a strap over the top instead.

Yes, as far as I can tell my 90 TD5's tank just sits in its cradle. I've not had it out completely, but I can't see any bolts actually going through the plastic of the tank.

The bottom cradle has six bolts four to the chassis and two through the cross member, and is forced up against the tub.
