Codbasher New Member May 13, 2008 #1 Wire in the temp sender on a Daihatu lump. Series just has one wire that goes to the gauge, seems the Daihatsu needs two wires, have tried one to gauge plus one to earth, nothing... Any ideas???

Codbasher New Member May 13, 2008 #3 Yes mate, tried earthing to engine/battery, tried both terminals and vice versa. Gauge was working fine before swap so no reason to suspect the gauge... The threads are totally different on the Daihatsu to the Series, so cant use series sender

E ETC7867 New Member May 13, 2008 #4 I might be looking to make a dummy plug I can screw the LR sender into. Just a thought it is the correct sender you are connecting to?
