I have just been offered the use of a garage to do that work I need to on my SIII but the door is only 2.00m high. I think it is probably a bit too low for my hard topped SWB SIII. I can't measure her directly at the moment as she's on someone elses drive.

Are there any smaller wheels available or even tyres combos that would loose me enough height so that I can wheel it in and out easily enough?

At the moment I think she is either shod with 7.50 16s or 6.00 16s.

Thanks,

Take the top off? Or do you need it on for the work you are doing?

I'd get dollies for the wheels if anything you are doing involves you being without power..

If you have power, get some old standard wheels and tyres and run them at very low pressure?

RR classic has same bolt PCD as SIII, or just really deflate your current tyres when rolling it in and out.

measure the opening accurately - my S3 on 7:50' used to go in fine EXCEPT for all the internal door handle mechanism. Mind you mine was a 3/4 soft-top which adds about 3".

I measured it this morning on my way into work and it was 2.00m at the lowest.

It actually sloped from one side to the other with the pitch of the flat roof!!

Work have kindly donated me a set of worn out rangemasters that I can get stuck on the current rims and run at vrtually flat. Power "isn't a problem" as she runs and drives but she is a 2.25 diesel :)
