the rear passenger floor on my 91 RR i getting very hot, v warm to the touch on top of the carpet, obviously the heating is off, any ideas as to what is causing this?

wow, you have heated floors in your RR, your passengers will appreciate this feature in winter
I can think only of exaust pipe doing this. Maybe missing heat shield or puncture in pipe.
