My hand brake gets hot when I put my lights on can anyone help

how hot?My transmission tunnel used to get hot after a run but thats where the eggshaut goes....

sounds like yer handbrake cable is doing the job of your earth straps. Time to go hunting and cleaning/replacing the earths me thinks.

Which earth would I check because I know there is a couple

body as lights earth through it ,you need battery to body and battery to chassis /engine

Wot Jamesmartin says

The chances are that if one earth is getting corroded then the others will quite often be in the same state so it could be worth your while to just remove clean and re-fit em all.

Ok I will check the earth cables thanks for the help
