Hello does anyone know why my car always seems to be letting hot air int to car.I have to run the climate control for a min until it goes cold . climate control not as good as it was . annoying as I change high pressure pipe had it re gassed and it was great last year.any advice welcome. Disco td5 v reg.

Has the cable on the knob stretched leaving it on hot.

might be some problem with the heater assy's flap controlls(they are actuated by servo-motors and as the matrix is constantly circulated by coolant if the flaps which must close the hot air is stuck open you'l get hot air, the flaps shown with the X arrow in attachment...run a manual diagnostic on it maybe it reveals a failed motor, if not there must nbe something mechanical with the flaps IMO

Probably not if it has climate control (aircon), it's just buttons, no knobs.
