I have a 2001 td4 freelander with 165k that I am bringing back to roadworthy standard and during this am replacing any dodgy hoses. I was kindly informed on another forum that the hose pictured is part of the fuel cooling system but may not be available as a separate piece to buy. Has anyone come across this and been able to buy the individual part? If so what is it called as I'm still stumped! Picture of pipe attached along with where it came from in pic with arrows. Was a quick release joint at each end so should be easily replaced. Thanking you in advance.

That either looks like part of a turbo or an EGR vaule to me. What angle did you take that photo? Top, underneath, front or back of engine??
