Ok the on going saga of Jo is continuing, I have replaced all the pipes except one which were all leaking and the radiator again which was leaking.

When I did this I put some flurencent dye into the coolent just in case. After running Jo a while the system was holding little pressure, so I got home this evening pumped it up to 1bar and waited for 5 mins. Got the UV torch out and looked around the engine bay. All the old leaks are done. Then looking down the exhaust side of the engine I could see nice bright green dripps coming from somewhere near the exhaust manifold.

Hopefully this is a head gasket failure near the back of the engine. So looks like this weekend will be out in the front with the spanners to get it off to drop it for testing. I hope the block is not split.

That doesn't sound like much fun. Didn't you say that the head been done before you got it. If the head has been done properly then it could be the block, Hope not. By the time you go on your next Morocco trip you should have a trouble free motor as everything will have been done. Mine is still in the paint shop. I'm told by the end of next week. I paid it a visit the other day. The work is progressing. He is supposed to spray the roof tomorrow. He has been priming the panels one by one, he did have his work cut out. I bought a new camera to take the photo's for when it's done. Then I can get back to my vibration problem.

Hopefully it's a simple gasket job, post up photos of whatever it is though.
