when i took off my hood to respray it earlier i found i was missing one, they look like a 2 inch ally rod with a section cut out that the hinge fits too, anyone got one lying around?

what damage can you do with a 2" ally bar, and whats a 187?

ok, for you english speaking people, the hinge on the bonnet for the landrover has a piece of ally with a notch cut out :mad:

The only Hood i got on my Dibnah is the canvas one - and even thats called a tilt - not sure why, cos it doesnt (tilt that is). maybe someone can elucidate and enlighten us all?
 
Ere, I can think ov 2 hoods (well 3 if yer count the one already mentioned), one up top and the other down below;)
Now then, wot one yer talkin aboot?

Aye, the youth of today, brought up on trashy septic crap that's bin bangin' round our telly screens for sum time now, not to mention the music;) :D
Was goin' tae say that I've acouple of old ones of them things kickin' aboot, but it'd probably cost more for me to post thum than wot it would be to buy thum:D

'Parently right, the Saxon word for tent or woven cover is tilt, or summat very simmilar, any how the word got used for the cover of horse drawn trailer things an just carried on from there.
