Not sure any p38 will be collectable regardless of model.
7.5 K is too expensive I think

I imagine people thought the same thing with the Escort Mk1 and 2. My dad had several back when they were cheap second hand motors and drove them until they died then scrapped them. Now a rolling shell goes for 7k. You cannot predict what will or will not become a collectable. It all depends on what people want to collect. I know a guy who collected some sort of top trumps cards. One he sold for £200. There are lots of lunatics in this world.

Love my Holland & Holland. I have had several p38s and this one is the best by miles. Petrol yes but the power is welcome on very long trips to Scotland and northern Europe. Power, high driving position, comfortable, uprated sounds, sat nav, tv and lots and lots of extra leather etc etc etc.

Yup, Autobiography option. They come up on fleabay from time to time. Be prepared to pay!! My local RR breaker found a new, never fitted set. Was offering them at £500 and had two people fighting over them. Wouldn't tell me how much he eventually got for them.

I saw a set of new old stock on the bay shortly after getting my P38. The seller wanted 1,200 buy it now. They sold within 2 hours. Some people's children, eh?

I quite like the matt finish walnut burr. I have the high gloss version on my HSE.

I think they look great, but £7500 is way out of my range. Still, a new engine, and loads of electrical stuff to go wrong/enhance your driving experience.

LPG the beast and jobs a good 'un.

Guy was selling seat trays from a Carin 50 last week on ebay. They went for about £150. Was looking at buying them until my engine went fubar. £800 later & i dont think seat trays are my priority right now:eek:
