I've got a hole in the floor of the passenger footwell about the size of a 2 pence piece. Will this be an MOT failure point?

If it is, can I cover it up with a bolt and a couple of big washers?

wouldn't have thought so as the landies have a proper chassis and not a monocock

Mine had about five an it still passed!!

Got some huge washers, nuts an bolts because it was letting water in.

The odd hole in the floor is handy for letting water out.
